On Saturday May 4, 2019 Focus On the Family presented Alive From NY in Time Square. The event was a one of kind original presentation that included music, public speakers, national personalities followed by a first ever live screening of a third trimester ultrasound of a baby in the womb of pregnant. women.
The event was a production, coordination and marketing masterpiece. Thousands attended and many more thousands viewed the live feed on cable stations and internet.
The mastery came in the form of timing and logistics. The entire production and presentation was put together in twelve weeks. All you event planners out there should be in awe. Not only was the event coming to the heart of New York City with all of its permitting, event regulations, security requirements, insurance and the list goes on.
Perhaps the biggest obstacle was the subject matter. Clearly a Pro-Life event coming to one of the most left leaning progressive and Pro Choice cities did not help.
The old adage of “where there is a will there is a way” was supremely tested and proven.
