Democratic Protectionism Is On Steroids.

Ordinarily it is President Trump who is accused of be the protectionist with his America First agenda, however he is being challenged by his Democratic opposition in a completely different way.

The Democrats are on defense to the max.

The Collusion bubble has burst so now depending on which way the wind is blowing…. Attorney General Barr is covering for the President, has not right to redact any of the Mueller report, and how could he possibly rule that there was not obstruction so quickly. One at a time. AG Barr is a seasoned pro, he has held this job before and no one, I mean no one has ever had the never to accuse him of playing politics with the law. Mr. Barr’s first confirmation in the Senate was unanimous. It is only the supreme hatred of anything Trump that kept that from happening again. No matter how much noise the Dems make the Mueller report cannot, I repeat, cannot be release without redactions. There are not only sources and methods that affect the Department of Justice ability to conduct investigations, there is also Grand Jury testimony of persons not that are not subject targets of the investigation who deserve privacy. The Dems point to the Ken Starr investigation of the Clintons which was released in its entirety. That created such a turmoil that the Congress collectively puts laws and rules in place to prevent such over zealous exposition of the fruits of any future investigations.

The Democratic protectionism that may get them in the most of trouble is the two faced responses to their brothers and sisters in arms.

No question that Joe Biden is a creepy old man. There is a trail of instances over the last forty years that are very uncomfortable to watch. He kisses, hugs, touches and otherwise invades the space of people whether they want it or not. Yet, the people on his side of the aisle have come up with every lame excuse as to why he should be exempt from the angst that has been visited upon many others in the #MeToo era.

In fact the women who had come out as said how they felt about his unwanted advances – even though they admitted that there was not sexual intent – have been marginalized and quickly disregarded. None of the Democratic cadre has had the nerve to say that his behavior should disqualify him from seeking the Presidency.

Nancy Pelosi has not only lost her mind but she has also lost control of her caucus.

She has allowed the rebel rookie Congresswomen Talib, Omar and AOC to get away with the most outrageous comments, positions and behavior. Talib from the “Impeach the Mother F#$@ker” comment on her first day, to Omar belittling the events of 9/11 by describing them as “Some people did something” and that caused the Muslim community to have their civil liberties curtailed and not mention her clear anti-Semitic stances to AOC with her sabotage of the NYC Amazon deal and her wacky Green New Deal.

There has been nothing but defense from the Democrat side of the aisle. Not once has either of them felt even the slightest chastisement. All three have committed and said things that should result in their being removed from their committee assignments. Remember not that long ago when Republican Congressman Steven King made some less than politically correct statements that were offensive. It did not take more than a few days for the GOP to strip him of his committee assignment at the same time as officially censure him. Pretty clear double standard.

It is the one thing that Democrats do so much better than Republicans and that is circling the wagons around their own and locking arms around issues and positions.

They cement the party agenda in front of the public. Never mind that they often looks ridiculous and ever so transparent in the their lack of any integrity.

Some to the vigilance that the Dems are espousing now and will be during the Presidential campaign is on the verge of damaging their hopes because the voting public that is not part of the far left fringe can see through the posturing and lack of any serious policy platform that will help the country.
