Chelsea Clinton at the Rise for Roe rally decided to praise the abortion industry for adding $3.5 Trillion to the US economy since legalization. The name of the rally should tell you all you need to know about the comments that were being made. Even if you agree with the SCOTUS decision all those years ago, the subject matter is not one to celebrate or extoll. Rise for Roe is a call for the continued abortion of millions. I digress.
First of all, as anything coming out of the mouths of the Clintons, it is wrong. Chelsea not the brightest bulb in the pack can't do simple math.
She claims that the economic boon is the result of more women entering the workforce. In fact the current cost of raising a child from birth to 17 years is ....are you ready..... $260,000...times 61 million babies aborted... the real cost to the economy is ....are your ready....$15,860,000,000,000.... that is $16 TRILLION DOLLARS that never entered the economy. That is the simple math. I leave it to the economists to do the extrapolations and projections that indicate a more accurate number is $400 Trillion over time.
The irony here is that the left will grasp Chelsea's statement as gospel and run with it. Oh, and the media will do nothing to challenge her. After all she is a Clinton.
The Reverend Franklin Graham wasted no time in speaking out. Graham didn’t mince words in his reply and said that her defense of abortion is similar to Hitler defending killing the Jews for economic reasons. Ordinarily I am not crazy about Hilter analogizes, which seem to get thrown around quite often theses days, but Rev. Graham is spot on.
I reserve my right to call our evil when I see it. Abortion is an evil procedure, policy and agenda. It cannot be cloaked in some different cloth. No one should ever feel justified to end a life.
As far as Brett Kavanaugh's elevation to the Supreme Court putting Roe v. Wade on the chopping block reality tells any one with half a brain that that will not happen in any wholesale way. I am not a constitutional scholar by any means but Roe has been law for so many years that it is firmly rooted in our society. Right or wrong SCOTUS will likely not wipe it away. What the choice activists are really fearing is the court will rule that the states should be the arbiters of the rules governing abortion and not the federal government. The fear here is the the states will curtail the more dastardly and offensive rules that currently are very expansive as to when and why abortions are permissible.
Further, if states set their own path many of the Governors and state legislatures will pass, in quick order, laws to block funding abortion mills. The Planned Parenthood leaders claim that they provide health services to women and deserve funding but neglect to point out the they profit greatly from their abortion and body part sales business. These government funds from the states will surely end in many states.
Women that i know, real women, real Moms, have no use for Planned Parenthood rhetoric or abortion in general. These very same women, many of whom are exceedingly successful business women, don't wear vagina hats, carry baby killing signs, or spout comments that remotely support abortion.
Clinton's being Clinton's deserve no attention whatsoever. Charlatans, crooks, cheats, culprits, criminals all words that start with C. Oh yeah, so does Clinton.
