This is like shooting fish in the barrel. If you think that the left, progressives, liberal want free speech you just need to read this....... NYC Mayor DeBlasio on CNN bemoaning what he blames for the divisiveness in our country.
“We would be a more unified country,” he declared. “There would be less overt hate. There would be less appeal to racial division, I guarantee it. Because what Murdoch did through Fox News and the New York Post, among others, is to create a dynamic where that stuff could come out in the open.”
So, let me get this straight. Only CNN, NBC and ABC should exist to spew leftist radical positions with no counter balance.
This man is blind, deaf and mostly dumb. Hypocrisy and bad memory and ignoring the past are all necessary to back this position. Can anyone forget the job that Obama did to fan the flames of racial division, heightened the victimization of agenda based groups, continually claimed that the opposition was to blame for everything all the while driving a wedge between people.
In order for the left, and now the socialists, to succeed in stifling of any opposing position they must control the narrative. Make statements that go unchallenged and refuse to converse on any intelligent objective level. So it is opposition shut up and how dare you contradict my positions.
It is no wonder that DeBlasio is so adamant that without Fox hate would be so much less. What a crock. What would be is the unfettered brainwashing of the population by a steady stream of far left, liberal, agenda based opposition to the government.
CNN, NBC and ABC make no attempt to balance the coverage. They edit with a hatchet anything that is contrary to their left leaning, resistance and opposition to Donald Trump, the administration, the policies and the individuals in government today. An example from today's headlines. An NBC crew was attacked by Antifa radicals on film and the network chose to not even mention it. The video, which is online, clearly shows the attack. But, if the network used it it would have had to identify that it was the extreme leftist group.
People, you need to pay close attention to really know what is going on. Do not accept any one source, dare I say, even Fox to get your information. Personally I think that without conservative outlets like Fox and the hundreds of on line bloggers the progressives, socialists and leftist would be successful in spreading their agendas, politics and policies.
