Let’s take another look at Hilary
I have a nagging question and I don’t hear anyone addressing it.
Since James Comey was NOT a DOJ attorney but the head of the investigative FBI how is it that he gets to make the call about not prosecuting Hilary.
In my distant past I was involved in many investigations done in conjunction with prosecutors. The call was never up to me or my bosses in terms of how, where and what was going to be prosecuted. My colleagues and I did the investigating, turned over the all of the resulting facts and the attorneys determined how to proceed.
I have additional problems with the way the investigation, interview and immunity granting was handled in the Hilary e-mail case. First and foremost is the change in language to “extremely careless” from “grossly negligent.” The later is the legal descriptor in the statue regarding the safeguarded of classified and secret material.
Try to parse the difference in the terms, there is none. Only one occasion of mishandling of such information is punishable by jail. Just ask the sailor who took one picture in the submarine and now sits in jail. Hilary disregarded the protection of classified information more times than anyone can count. She destroyed the evidence on the illegal server so dramatically even after she was told to preserve the server and the e-mails. She admitted to deleting 33,000 that she and she alone deemed to be personal.
Here is yet another question. Since we know that there were classified and secret e-mails on the server in Chappaqua how is that her attorneys were able to review and process those very e-mails. Where is the clearance? Were they authorized to even see the content?
Oh, and the infamous interview is just laughable. Just three hours after a year long investigation with so many facets. The interrogation, yes that exactly what it should have been, in my book would have been at the very least the entire day and maybe more. No notes, no recording, no report after the fact. Doesn’t anyone think that is just not correct.
I have always held that she was allowed to skate by not only James Comey, but Loretta Lynch in tandem. Both have and are treating the American people as imbeciles.
I don’t believe that the citizens of this great country will ever know how deeply the Hilary helpers went to protect her. In my book she should at the very least be under indictment and forced to put up a real defense in a court of law.
