Take That Sucka!

I woke this morning to news that America is back.

After eight years of distorted rhetoric, inaction, hand wringing, obfuscation we have a President who says what he means and does what he says.

After watching the Syrian gassing of it's own including women and children President Donald J. Trump told the world that he was going to take responsibility for putting the atrocities to an end. He didn't take much time to rain Tomahawk missiles upon the Syrian air base and it's planes. The clear message is try that again and see what happens next.

Ignore the Russian rhetoric, ignore the Iranians, ignore the folks who talk about a new war, they have just been put on notice that the page has changed in Washington. With any luck the leaders of those countries and the left in our own country will now understand that the Oval Office is in charge, period.

So much for our President being in bed with Putin. Donald Trump has just thumbed his nose that the burly Russian and said "Not on my watch." Imagine not only was the Tomahawk barrage executed in complete secrecy it was actually carried out while the President was having dinner with the Chinese President.

Actions speak ever so much louder than words and this is a statement about the return of international leadership by the United States of America. It is the lack of American leadership that has gotten the world to the state it is now.

Consider all of the nations that have thought that they were safe under the previous administration because of the empty words and lack of resolve are now needing to reevaluate their positions. Iran, Russia, Syria, North Korea to name only a couple of the voices that have been pushing the American buttons for eight long years. Well last night was the "reset".

Thank you Mr. President.
