Seems to me that no one is talking about the more likely outcome of the pending Clinton criminal charges from either the e-mails or the Clinton Global Foundation.
Play the string out. FBI recommends indictment, Loretta Lynch has no place to hide. Charges are filed. Democrats scream foul. Hillary says she will be vindicated and looks forward to her day in court. Does not matter.
Waiting in the wings is the executive pen. President Barack Obama will pardon her.
The result can be no different. Whether the legal ramifications happen before or after the general election the pardon will come just before Mr. Obama leaves office.
Pardons are a Presidential prerogative and have been used shamelessly in the past by Presidents of both parties. Mrs Clinton's husband was roundly condemned for his pardon of Marc Rich and the FALN bombers as well as his January 20, 2001 pardon of 140 people in the final hours of his presidency.
I am putting my money of the pardon. Mr. Obama and the Democrats will not accept Hillary suffering through the legal morace and opening the facts to public scrutiny.
