I have been telling anyone who will listen that God is getting ready to pull the plug on his human experiment. I mean, even He must have a frustration level above which He will act. Think Adam & Eve, Job, the Tower of Babel and Noah to list but a few of the occasions when God tried to teach lessons about consequences. What about the Israelite's? So many times in the Old Testament they revolted or disobeyed God. God got angry with them and punished them only to forgive them after a time. And still they acted out again and again.
So far, the Almighty has shown that his patience as almost limitless. As a collective work the human race has surely tested Him. Inquisitions, Crusades, World Wars, mass genocide, horrific bombings and attacks that killed thousands of people, hatred on a global scale, nuclear armaments, political corruption, race riots and rampant crime have yet to reach His limit of forgiveness and love for his creatures. How much longer can this go on?
The Book of Revelation speaks of the rise of the Anti-Chirst. Is that a person, a political ideology, a religious sect or merely the cumulative actions against His people in the form of laws that preclude expression of the love of God?
The Ten Commandments are perpetually under attack by spurious groups camouflaged as separation of Church and State advocates. The Ten Commandments are universally accepted as Gods’ law for our salvation. Christian and Jews alike understand them as their road map to heaven. No secular alternative has ever come close to the divine document. In fact the founders of the United States were spiritual men who understood that what they were about to embark on was doomed to failure without the help of God.
How much longer will He tolerate the killing of innocent babies by abortion? Will He allow the advancing of the possibility for euthanasia of the sick on a grand scale as is now being voiced to legislators and governments? Humans are so arrogant to think they are entitled to make such decisions and wrap their claims in convoluted rhetoric about rights. He simply said “Thou Shall Not Kill.” There doesn’t seem to be any wiggle room there.
Muslim followers are attempting to eradicate anyone who will not worship Mohammed as their one and only god. Clearly Mohammed was not God, but Muslims worship him as if he were. Their goal of a Caliphate places everyone under the Koran and makes no allowance for any other religion or spiritually. On it’s face their ideology is not Godly at all. It has been said that the Muslim faith is a political agenda hiding inside a religion. That statement requires deep scrutiny indeed. Can God really want us to live under such draconian strictures? Can He actually want to reconstitute the ability for one person to enslave another?
As time goes on the list of human infractions against God’s basic laws grows and grows.
Common sense says that even the most loving and forgiving God will at some point turn the lights out. It will not matter that there be “just one just man” living on the planet anymore. His archangels are ready to bring the human race before the throne of justice. It is only the remaining reserves of God’s love that prevents it. When will that reserve run out?
The second coming, the apocalypse, the rapture, or however you individually believe that that the end of days will happen, just know that it is coming. Know that you will deserve what ever is in store for you when that time comes. It is up to you to decide how that conversation will go when you meet your maker.
