They ought to be ashamed of themselves. How in the world could they do such a thing?
So wrong on so many counts it defies intelligence. Common sense must have been jettisoned.

And I am NOT talking about the CIA or its actions following 911. They, in fact, had it right. What I am talking about is the blatantly partisan report that was released by the Democrats with all their pontifications about value, morality and standing in the world. Politicians who will do anything to extract a pound of flesh from the opposition in spite of all the reasons why the country would be worse for their actions are reprehensible to the tenth degree.
I have written before about this lot of jackals that occupy our most sacred institutions. In one post, “Actions have Consequences,” I focused on the sickening apologies and accommodations that our President has embarked on over the last six years to get us into a position of weakness, second string status and down right disrespect in the world.
In another, “The Importance of Fist Fights,” I spoke to the misplaced mind set that says, if we were kinder and gentler the world would be a better place, and we as a country would be respected and highly valued.
The pablum and drivel coming from the mouths of politicians are just not grounded in reality. My reference to fist fights was that in a fit you don’t give your opponent any advantage. You never put your hands down and say ‘hit me’ without making your adversary know that they only get one shot before you release the hammers of hell and beat them to a pulp.
The world is a very dangerous place -- in many ways even more so than it was in 2001. To castigate the folks who kept us from suffering another catastrophic loss of our citizens both here and aboard is just beyond the pale. To now place them, and admittedly so by Sen. Feinstein and President Obama, in harm’s way is even more reprehensible than the actual release of the report itself. In fact, I will go as far as to say, that the President has violated his oath of office and his duty to protect Americans.
Has everyone forgotten the sounds, the images, the tears associated with the World TradeCenter, the field in Pennsylvania or the Pentagon? War is hell folks, and we were and are in a war! The CIA was the only chance we had to understand what was coming at us and develop information to stop it.
The discussion of right and wrong, what was and wasn't communicated to whom is a conversation that didn’t have to take place in public view. The airing of Americas’ fault on the public stage, even if you believe there is fault, is not a noble thing. It is a stupid thing and in this case, a very weak-minded one.
Dare I say that in other times such actions would be considered giving ‘aid and comfort to the enemy.’ The various factions around the globe will capitalize on an instrument we have given them. Our enemies will parse it, reproduce it, spread it around and generally use it to pillory the United States for their very own purposes.
The holier than thou statements coming from the Democrats and their supporters are at best the product of their protected lifestyles. They are pampered intelligencia who experience the real world only under rarified and controlled circumstances. If you want a sense of reality, talk to the military, talk to law enforcement, talk to the rank and file who are charged with our protection daily, and you will come to a completely different understanding of what it takes to protect our great nation on the ground level.
I am nauseated by the misguided posturing and positions taken by our government and the current administration. I can only hope that in my life time the tide will turn and once again America will take its rightful place as the leader of the free world. Sadly, we have intentionally forfeited that position.
